WHERE THE LAND EMBRACES THE SEA

Razo is the port of entry to the Costa da Morte, a wild and turbulent coastline that is home to fishing villages, lighthouses and beaches of fine sand. A unique setting to relax, blend with nature and enjoy a range of activities: surfing, scuba diving, hiking, routes on horseback or bicycle and many others.

Razo is a very popular place for people who study how the earth’s crust has changed over the centuries. Razo is the starting point for the Meridian Rift, one of the most important geological phenomena in Galicia. It divides the territory of Galicia from north to south, in a line of fractures of some 140 kilometres (87 miles) from Razo to Tui, in the province of Pontevedra.
